 Based
on campus, the Pacific Basin Institute offers an annual
series of
events of interest to Asian Studies majors. Events for
the Fall 2007 academic year include a forum on The Korean
Peninsula: Looking Beyond the Six Party Talks on
November 6, 2007. It will feature guest panelists who will
look ahead to Northeast Asian relations after North Korean
normalization. Guest panelists include Daniel A. Pinkston,
Director, East Asia Nonproliferation Program and Jing-dong
Yuan, Director of Education Program, Center for
Nonproliferation Studies.
